Product Details
A magnificent expression of Banaras' timeless weaving heritage, our Royal Indigo Handwoven Pure Banarasi Silk Saree is a masterpiece of artistry, elegance, and craftsmanship. Handwoven by master artisans using generations-old techniques, this exquisite saree embodies the grandeur and sophistication that have made Banarasi silk one of India's most treasured textiles.
Woven in a rich royal indigo blue hue, the saree showcases an intricate Jangla weave adorned with exquisite Meenakari work throughout the body. Delicate floral vines and traditional motifs intertwine gracefully across the silk, while subtle meenakari accents add depth, color, and artisanal refinement to the weave.
The saree is further elevated by a breathtaking grand zari pallu, richly woven with intricate floral and geometric motifs inspired by Mughal artistry. The luxurious pallu is complemented by an ornate zari border and elegant handcrafted tassels, creating a regal finish worthy of the most special occasions.

The Lotus Aurea Promise
Every Lotus Aurea saree is carefully curated from master artisan weavers, preserving the rich legacy of India's handloom traditions.
The Weaving Technique
Jangla is one of the most intricate and labour-intensive Banarasi weaving styles, characterised by dense, all-over floral and vine motifs that cover the entire body of the saree. Each motif is woven using extra weft threads guided by hand, with master weavers working from a graphed pattern (naksha) that maps out the design thread by thread. The meenakari effect — small flashes of contrasting colour within the motifs — is achieved by introducing fine coloured silk threads at precise points in the weave, mimicking the look of enamelled jewellery. A single Jangla saree with meenakari can take a skilled weaver several weeks to complete.
