Product Details
Gracefully woven in the timeless traditions of Banaras, this Handwoven Pure Kora Silk Saree is a celebration of refined elegance and artisanal excellence. Crafted from luxurious Kora silk, the saree features a delicate silver-grey hue that beautifully highlights the richness of the intricate gold zari weaving.
The body is adorned with elegant gold zari motifs inspired by traditional Banarasi artistry, lending the saree a regal yet understated charm. Intricately woven zari borders frame the drape with sophistication, while the lightweight, sheer texture of Kora silk adds effortless grace and fluidity.

The Weaving Technique
Kora Banarasi silk is woven on traditional pit looms by master weavers of Varanasi, using a sheer, lightly twisted silk yarn that gives the fabric its characteristic translucence. The gold zari — a fine metallic thread historically made from real silver wrapped in gold — is hand-introduced into the weave using small shuttles, motif by motif, in a technique passed down through generations. The grand pallu alone can take several days of dedicated work, as weavers meticulously build up the dense jaal (net-like) patterning thread by thread on the loom.
