Pichwai Heritage Chanderi Pure Pattu Soft Silk Saree

Product Details

Inspired by the timeless beauty of Rajasthan's celebrated Pichwai art, this exquisite Chanderi Pure Pattu Soft Silk Saree is a tribute to India's rich artistic and weaving traditions. Handwoven by skilled artisans, the saree combines the elegance of Chanderi silk with the grandeur of traditional silver zari craftsmanship.

The serene celestial blue body is adorned with delicate silver zari accents that lend a soft, luminous sheen to the drape. The true highlight lies in the intricately woven Pichwai-inspired motifs featured along the pallu and lower border, rendered in rich silver zari. Inspired by traditional temple art, these motifs evoke themes of devotion, prosperity, and cultural heritage.

A striking ruby-red edging beautifully frames the saree, creating a sophisticated contrast against the cool blue tones. Lightweight yet luxurious, the pure pattu soft silk fabric drapes effortlessly.

The Lotus Aurea Promise

Every Lotus Aurea saree is thoughtfully sourced from artisan weaving communities, preserving India's rich handloom traditions while celebrating timeless craftsmanship.

The Weaving Technique

Pattu silk sarees from Chanderi are woven on traditional pit looms using fine, high-twist silk yarn that gives the fabric its signature sheen and crisp drape. The Pichwai-inspired motifs along the pallu and border are built up using an extra-weft technique, where silver zari threads are interlaced into the base weave at precise intervals to form the detailed temple-art imagery — a process that demands careful counting and a steady hand from the weaver. The contrasting ruby-red edging is woven separately and joined seamlessly into the border during finishing.
