Golden Beige Handwoven Banarasi Cotton Jamdani Saree
Product Details
Graceful and understated, this Handwoven Banarasi Cotton Jamdani Saree celebrates the timeless beauty of traditional Indian craftsmanship. Woven by master artisans, it combines the renowned elegance of Banarasi weaving with the intricate artistry of the Jamdani technique, where each motif is individually woven into the fabric rather than embroidered, creating a rich texture and remarkable depth.
Rendered in a sophisticated golden-beige hue, the saree features delicate geometric and floral Jamdani motifs woven throughout the body. The intricately patterned border and richly detailed pallu lend a refined grandeur, while the lightweight cotton construction ensures exceptional comfort and graceful drape.
Finished with handcrafted tassels, this saree is equally suited for festive occasions, temple visits, intimate celebrations, and elegant daytime gatherings.

The Weaving Technique
Jamdani is a discontinuous supplementary-weft technique in which each motif is woven into the fine cotton entirely by hand, thread by thread, with no stencil or tracing. Because the motifs are added during weaving and appear to float on the sheer ground, a single saree demands extraordinary patience and many days on the loom, making authentic Jamdani one of India's most time-intensive handlooms.
