Svarna Vana — Olive Gold Handwoven Banarasi Moonga Silk Saree

Product Details

A celebration of timeless Banarasi artistry, Svarna Vana is a luxurious handwoven Banarasi Moonga Silk saree crafted in an elegant antique olive-gold hue. Inspired by the richness of royal textiles and nature's golden landscapes, this exquisite weave embodies grace, heritage, and refined craftsmanship.

Delicate floral butis are woven across the body in lustrous zari, accented with subtle meenakari-inspired red highlights that add depth and character. A magnificent floral jaal pallu unfolds in intricate detail, showcasing generations of weaving expertise passed down through the master artisans of Varanasi.

Framed by an ornate zari border with traditional floral motifs and flowing vine patterns, the saree offers a harmonious balance of grandeur and sophistication. The soft texture and graceful drape of handwoven Moonga Silk make it exceptionally comfortable while retaining a luxurious presence. Finished with handcrafted tassels, Svarna Vana is a timeless heirloom-inspired piece for weddings, festive celebrations, receptions, and special occasions.

The Weaving Technique

Banarasi Moonga silk is handwoven from naturally textured wild silk yarn prized for its soft, organic sheen. The floral butis and grand pallu are formed with fine zari supplementary wefts, while the meenakari accents are introduced colour by colour using separate shuttles, each motif hand-guided into the weave. A single saree takes several days of skilled work on the loom.
